Welcome to the Project “Big Companies in Argentina Database BDGA/BCAD” which analyze the changes of the Argentinian corporate elite in the long term. Our main contribution is to build a database of the 200 largest non-financial firms operating in Argentina from 1913 to 1971. This database is based on primary sources and contains information on large companies, collected and systemized for the following selected years: 1913, 1923, 1930, 1937-8, 1944, 1959-60, 1970-1. You are welcome to visit the BCAD Database and contact us with any doubts, comments or suggestions.
